Neva Danielle "Dani" (Lamb) McDonald, 37, of Caldwell, formerly of Rockdale, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022 in Bryan. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale.
Dani was born on May 19, 1985 to Royce Wayne Lamb and Christina Gayle (Schlottman) Owens in Rockdale. She graduated from Caldwell High School in 2003. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She also loved to dance. She loved being a loving aunt to all of her nieces and nephews. She was loved by many friends and anyone who got to meet her.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Neva and Tom Woods; grandfather, Edward Schlottman, and Roy and Betty Lamb; grandmother, Edna Sullivan; aunt, Theresa (Schlottman) Stewart; uncle, Kenneth Schlottman and his wife Belinda; and cousin, Scott L E Schlottman.
Dani is survived by her father, Royce Lamb of Caldwell; mother, Christina (Schlottman) Owens formally of Rockdale and husband James Powers of Arkansas; sister, Katrina Lamb of Caldwell and husband Todd Warren; brother, Thomas Owens of Caldwell; step brother Bradley Cotter of Duncan, OK; nieces, Destiny Duncan, Chloe Lamb, Alexis McDonald, Allyson McDonald, Autumn McDonald, all of Caldwell; nephews, Alexander Duncan of Navasota, and Christopher McDonald of Houston, Kaiden Owens of Rockdale, Luke Owens, and William Owens of Bryan; goddaughter, Shania Deere of Caldwell; and uncle, Carl Schlottman of Tyler.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to help with the funeral, donations may be made directly to the funeral home.
