Neva Louise Broderick, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on December 14th at her home in Moscow, Ohio. Neva lived a life defined by warmth, strength, and a deep devotion to nature, wildlife rehabilitation, and her family.
Born on October 28th, 1960, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Neva was known for her kind heart, sharp wit, love of animals and for the care she showed to others, often placing the needs of those around her before her own.
Neva found joy in the simple but meaningful moments, family gatherings, conversations, yoga, and walks in the woods with her dogs. Those who knew her will remember her as someone who listened deeply, loved fiercely, and made others feel welcome and valued.
Above all, Neva cherished her family. She was a loving parent, a kind and caring sister, and a devoted grandmother, whose presence provided comfort, guidance, and unwavering support. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the love she shared so freely.
Neva was preceded in death by her parents (George and Neva Broderick of Cincinnati) and survived by her brothers Rich (Pam) and Mick Broderick of Cincinnati, her daughter Shannon Ormandy (Nick Collini) of Chicago, her son James Nicholas Ormandy (Carol) and grandchildren J.D., Chase, and Jackson. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Though her absence will forever be felt, Neva Louise Broderick's legacy of love, kindness, and quiet strength will remain forever in our hearts.
Visitation (4:30-6:00 pm) and service beginning at 6 pm will be held on Monday, December 22nd at T.P. White Funeral Home at 2050 Beechmont Ave, Cincinnati, OH.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Second Chance Wildlife Reserve Association (secondchancewildlife.org) in Neva's memory.
