My thoughts and prayers are with the Nill and Ottenweller families. Neva and John and their friendship with my parents, Bob and Elizabeth Schmoll, were important parts of my childhood. Barbara Schmoll Mahoney

Mrs. Nill was always kind when she would come into the office. As the Drs. Krueger, Andrew, Nill and Nolan would hold their KANN Physician Meetings, she would sometimes bring me one of her famous spinach salads. I worked around Dr. Nill for almost 24 years. We would always share a laugh. Mrs. Nill and I would often cross paths as we visited patients in the local nursing homes. My thoughts and prayers are with this family.

I was blessed to be a godchild of Aunt Neva and Uncle John. I also have fond memories of the Nill home and lake houses we'd visit on summer vacations, not to mention tons of cousins. Aunt Neva left quite a legacy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all, Jeanie Ottenweller Carlile

What a wonderful friend to my mother, Maxine Singleton. I am sure that Neva will be spending time together in heaven with my mother. Neva always was so kind and welcoming. Neva held a wedding shower for my family and friends close to my wedding in 1988. What a special event she planned and had for me. She will be remembered fondly by our whole family. SO sorry to hear about your loss. We are lucky that we have had the amount of time with all of our parents, they have all lived beyond our expectations. Each day they shared their memories and made more memories with us. Take care Nill family and my prayers are with you all in this difficult time.

Thinking of you all at this time and remembering the many happy visits we made to Ft. Wayne to see our Yankee relatives. Neva was always the "hostess with the mostest"and had activities lined up to make our visits memorable. She was a truly remarkable lady! Love, Ruth Aimee and the kids

She was an awesome kind and friendly lady as anyone who knew her

My sincere sympathy to the Nill family on the loss of your dear mother, Neva. She was a living saint, as anyone would quickly agree. Her many interests show that her concern in life was to serve the needs of others with great love and care. I will remember her at Holy Mass and keep you all in my thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.
