I know Nevin will be greatly missed by his sister, Eunice, who is my good friend in Texas. Her comfort is in knowing that Nevin knew and loved his Lord Jesus.

My deepest sympathy to the family.
Nevin was a great friend and will be missed dearly. He was a very wise man that I had so much respect for. I learned so much from him in conversations over the years. Rest in peace .:

To Nevin`s sisters and the rest of his family: I offer my deepest condolences. Nevin was an amazing man. He was humble, kind, giving, and helpful beyond measure. Many people remember him as the physic teacher Northern Lehigh, but he was so much more. He helped everyone at all levels in the district. When Nevin came to our school and joined our science department, I was the only woman and those men were my brothers. Later in his career after Ron and Dave retired ,he was the only man in the department for a while. We were a family in room 220! And although he loved teaching, he loved the Earth and was a farmer at heart. We benefited from his seemingly endless supply of asparagus and tomatoes. He was a wonderful friend and I loved talking to him even after we were both retired. I will miss our conversations dearly! He was a religious man and lived a simple life. I´m sure now he´s with his daddy and mama whom he loving talked about and of course, his brother! Anyone who knew him was a better person ! God rest your soul my dear friend !

To Nevin´s Family,
Nevin was a colleague for many years at Northern Lehigh High School, and we shared our birthdates of February 19. I always looked forward to exchanging bday cards with Nevin, and he would also put a chocolate bar in my mailbox on our birthdays.
Nevin was the epitome of a live well lived and well served to his Savior! He was the finest gentleman, and he was so humble and kind. He definitely left his mark at NL, and his students adored and respected him. We used to say at school..."Nevin knows..." because Nevin could fix anything and help you in any situation....therefore..."Nevin knows..."
May our dear friend Nevin rest in peace.
With love and gratitude,
Renee Evans

Nevin was our neighbor and for the past few years, we farmed his small fields by his house. Whenever we stopped to chat, it usually led to a half hour conversation! Since we can't be at the funeral due to a previous commitment, I just want the family to know that you have our sympathies and that Nevin's legacy can be charactorized as "a life well lived".

Nevin - you have embedded good memories of our fellow teaching experiences over many years. Your sincerity, moral standing, commitment to our former vocation will never be forgotten. Radar
