Nichelle Danine Spikes

Nichelle "Danine" Spikes, passed away gracefully on the 13th of May 2025, at the age of 57 in Cleveland Ohio. Born on December 9, 1967, in Painesville Ohio, Nichelle was the beloved daughter of Ruthie Stark-Redman and Fred Allen Claiborne. She is deeply mourned by her sister, Tanya, her children Takila, Zachary, Vernon, and her cherished grandchildren Amiir (Takila) Aubrey, Katiria, and Imani (Zachary), cousins Patricia and Lisa, aunt Maryann (Terrell), aunt Helen (Shakia, LaShonda), and cherished aunt Violene (Nisha, Marcus, and Joval), and cherished uncle Javon (Anius, Ava, and Ayla), and a host of cousins.
Nichelle is proceeded in death by her aunt Christine, uncles Corneilus and Lonnie Spikes, Cousin Terrell, grandparents Rufus and Madeline Spikes.
Nichelle was a dedicated Environmental Services Supervisor at UH TriPoint Hospital. A life enthusiast, Nichelle adored music and relished peaceful moments in the parks. Her love for tranquility was only outmatched by her joy in spending time with her beloved family, especially her granddaughter Katiria, who was the apple of her eye.
Nichelle's loving spirit and transparent nature were her defining attributes. She will be missed immensely but her light continues to shine through her family, particularly her nieces Kara, Kaylyn, Kylie, great niece Lauren, nephew William, and great nephews Isaiah, and Matthew who will carry forward her legacy of love.
