Nicholas R. Calabria

Nicholas R. Calabria was born March 26, 1941, and peacefully passed away on October 14, 2023, at the age of 82. He was the beloved son of the late Russell and Pauline (Farina) Calabria. He lived most of his life in Reading, graduated from Reading High School, played basketball and baseball and continued his education at Penn State. After which he enlisted in the Army and spent two years abroad and traveled extensively. Nick worked selling car batteries until early retirement. He enjoyed playing golf, getting together with his buddies and spending time with his family. He was a wonderful brother, son and a good friend to anyone that knew him. Left to cherish Nick's memory are his sisters, Marianne "Mauree" Ward, wife of James, and Gloria "Cookie" Calabria. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 10 a.m. at the Chapel of Resurrection at Gethsemane Cemetery with burial to follow. Edward J.
