Nicholas Othmar Cooper

Nick came to work with me back in November 2023. He was a quiet one at first, but he always listened intently and learned as much as he could to do the best job that he could do. And he succeeded. I told him many times that he was coming for my job, and the other guys joked around with him as well about being "the new boss" as well. His work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to listen to the customers' wants and needs helped to grow the department. All of the people he worked with outside of our company enjoyed seeing him roll up on location because they knew he'd get the job taken care of. On our off times, we would always talk cars. He was also very passionate about Fords, and we would tempt each other back and forth about our own builds. I was saddened by the talk we had when he told me that he was planning to leave and go back to Georgia, to work and be with his family. I knew the struggle he was in with being pulled 2 ways, but I assured him that I understood and supported him with the decision. I talked about making the drive from KY down to hang out some of my off time. The last time I talked to Nick, I told him that I appreciated him and all that he had done. I now feel like those words didn't do justice to the amount of gratitude I have for him and the reward it has been for me personally for getting to work with and know him. I pray for the family and friends, and that they may find comfort in knowing what an outstanding and respectful young man they raised. And the impact in so many lives he has had in the short time with us. As I've told him many times before, "No more work today. Go home and get some rest." You're home bud. Rest peacefully.
