Nicholas DelNinno Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremation Society - Venice on Dec. 5, 2025.
Nicholas "Nick" DelNinno, 81, of Venice, Florida, formerly of Wilmington, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 19, 2025

Nick was born in Medford, Massachusetts, he then moved to Wilmington in high school where he met his wife, Judy. They were married in 1967. They had 3 daughters and made countless memories at their home on Silver Lake.

Nick is survived by his beloved wife Judy, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage. He was the loving father of three daughters: Michele Murray of Dracut, MA, Jennifer Navaria and her husband Michael of Haverhill, and Nicole MacArthur and her husband Kevin of Billerica. He was the proud grandfather of three grandsons - Jake Murray, Shane MacArthur and Cameron MacArthur.

Nick is also survived by his sister, Lois MacKenzie of Wilmington, along with many nieces and nephews.

Nick proudly served in the Army National Guard from 1964 to 1970.

Nick loved fishing and was a lifelong hockey lover. Nick not only loved the game but also loved coaching hockey. Nick also enjoyed coaching his daughters for many years in softball. His guidance and encouragement both on the ice and on the field made a lasting impact.

Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose quiet strength shaped the lives of those around him. His family was his greatest pride and joy.

Nick's presence, warmth, and laughter will be deeply missed, but his spirit will remain forever in the hearts of those he loved.

Nick was a longtime supporter of the Tunnel to Towers and Wounded Warriors organizations.

John 14:1–3, "Do not let your hearts be troubled… In my Father's house are many rooms…I go to prepare a place for you."
