Nick was a proud member of the Upton Grange and the Grafton Writers Club, and he enjoyed a wide range of interests, including playing billiards, bowling, dancing, restoring and admiring antique cars, and playing chess. He was an avid reader and loved traveling, especially trips to Italy and France.
In addition to his wife Millie, he is survived by his daughter, Christina Galeone of Westborough; Millie’s children, Michael Lupachini, Sr. and his wife Angela of Upton, Marcia Sprague and her partner Dan Lutz of Addison, Maine, and Peter Lupachini and his partner Cesar Aguilera of Phoenix, Arizona; his cherished grandchildren, Jeffrey, Dale, Michael, Jr., and Gina; his adored great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, Lilith, Kole, and Hunter; his devoted niece and caregiver, Kerri Cahill; and many extended family members.
Nick was predeceased by his first wife of 41 years, Barbara (Jacobson) Galeone, who passed away in 2011, and by his sister, Margaret Galeone, who died in 1972.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 13, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main Street, Westborough. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Grafton, will take place privately with his family. All are welcome to join the Galeone family for a luncheon in St. Luke’s Parish Hall following the Mass.
