Nicholas Joseph Anthony Guaetta, 78, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

Born and raised in Lewiston, New York, Nick was a kind and giving man, generous of spirit and beloved by all who knew him. He possessed a wonderful sense of humor, was of strong moral character, and put family before all other things. Throughout his life, he called many places home, including Niagara Falls, Oberlin, Ohio, and Buffalo, New York, before settling in Chicago, where he raised his family. Once his children were grown, he moved to Minneapolis, Hays, Kansas, and finally Kansas City, Missouri.

Nicholas is survived by his beloved wife, Terry; his daughters, Lisa Lange of Miami, Oklahoma, and Nicole Guaetta-Hoffmann (Samuol) of Columbia, Missouri; his sisters, Elizabeth Reimann (Eric) of Grand Island, New York, and Thelma Guaetta of Milledgeville, Georgia; his cherished grandchildren: Caitlin, Nicholas (Kayla), Spencer, Olivia, and Ella; along with nephews, a niece, and many cousins who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Guaetta and Joyce Tufts Guaetta.

No funeral services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
