With deep condolences to the Kittrie family. Nick was a great professor and mentor nearly 40 years ago and remained a friends throughout the years. Generous, inquisitive, always young and intellectually curious. I thought he would be here forever. I miss his distinct voice, sense of humor and constant craving of knowledge. Intoxicated by ideas, intoxicating with his enthusiasm.
As an undergraduate, I had read one of his books only to find myself in one of his classes years later in law school. He was a giant. He is missed. Bless you, Nick.

My husband, Prof. Marvin E. Wolfgang (1924-1998), would have been a colleague of Prof. Kittrie. They were of the same generation and very active and well-known in Criminology. I just want to add my condolences to his family, as Marvin would have done.
