Nicholas Notte Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Greely Funeral Home on Feb. 15, 2026.
Nicholas Notte, of Gloucester, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.

Nicholas was a kind-hearted, curious, sensitive, ambitious individual. He went to Essex Elementary and graduated from Manchester Essex Regional High School. Nicholas attended Whitman College where he was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity. He graduated with distinction with a B.A. in Philosophy. He attended Vanderbilt University Law School.

Growing up, Nicholas was active in town sports and activities. From a young age, Nicholas continuously challenged himself whether it was to raise money for charitable organizations, participate in a travel abroad program, or to find the means to attend the Boy Scouts' National Jamboree. This continued into his young adulthood where he studied diligently in college and worked hard to get into law school.

As an adult, Nicholas was very health oriented, running regularly and adopting a vegan diet. He enjoyed playing strategy games with friends and family, relishing the challenge and the time spent together. Sensitive and caring, he had a special affection for animals. He possessed a remarkable knowledge of current events and world history, engaging others in thoughtful conversation. Guided by a strong sense of justice, Nicholas stood firmly for what he believed was right, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Nicholas is survived by his loving parents, John and Michele Notte, and his siblings, Moon (Adelaide) and Isaac Notte of Gloucester, MA. He will also be missed by his aunts, uncles, and cousins throughout the country.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester, MA. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Nicholas' name be made to either of the following charities: Shatterproof https://www.shatterproof.org or Center for Humane Technology https://humantech.com
