Nicholas Rehmann Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McGeehan Funeral Homes Martin Chapel in Chesaning on Feb. 12, 2026.
Nicholas "Nick" Edmund Rehmann III passed away on February 9, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 11:00 am at Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Charles. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of service.

Nick was born on December 3, 1945 to Nicholas, Jr. and Anna (Zayac) Rehmann in Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated from St. Charles High school with the class of 1964. After high school, Nick proudly served his country with the United States Army. Later, he attended trade School and went on to build a career in machining. He worked in the machine shop industry, including Baker Perkins then later starting his own shop, Saginaw Industrial Machining. He also spent years farming, working the fields of soybeans, corn, and wheat-work he took great pride in.

An outdoorsman at heart, Nick loved his pets, and spending time "up north." Cedar Point, Deer Acres, Mackinaw Island, and trips north were among his favorite places. He enjoyed tinkering, working in his shop, and socializing with friends.

Nick will be remembered for his steady presence, his hardworking nature, and his love for family and friends. His memory will live on in the stories shared around campfires, in workshops and fields, and in the hearts of those who knew him best.

Those left to cherish his memory is his wife, Barb (Weiskirch) Rehmann; children, Cindy (Kevin) Marseilles, Kevin Rehmann (Sarah); sister, Kathleen (John) Sutorik; in-laws, Jerry Weiskerich, Jim Weiskerich, Debbie Weiskerich, Beth Weiskerich, Roberta Rehmann; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Marilyn Capps, Janice (Dennis) Coon and Ronald Rehmann; and brothers-in-law, David Weiskerich and Bob Schoenlein.

The family would also like to extend their gratitude to Residential Hospice and the VA for providing A&D Health-aide, Tammy Hanline and her compassionate care.
