Nicholas Reynolds Obituary

Nicholas "Nick" Clark Reynolds, 39, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022. He was born on September 11, 1982, to Kevin Douglas Reynolds and Debra Neil (Craft) Horner (John Horner) in DuBois, PA.

Nick graduated from DuBois Area High School with the class of 2001, where he played baseball and was an excellent pitcher. He made several of his lifelong friends from his many years playing baseball. During his high school career, Nick met his high school sweetheart, Kristen (Vizza). Nick went on to earn an associate degree in business at Penn State DuBois.

One of Nick's many talents was being a "jack of all trades," he would quickly master any new skill he tackled. Being a skilled woodworker among his long list of other talents made Nick invaluable on a job site.

On October 19, 2002, Nick and Kristen welcomed their beautiful son, Tyler Lewis, into this world. Nick, and the love of his life, Kristen, continued their love story and were married on June 21, 2008, with their son by their side at Tri County Church in DuBois.

Nick's true path in life was being an amazing husband, father, son, brother and friend; he always looked happiest when surrounded by the people he loved. Nick was an incredibly kind person, with a strong sense of respect for others and a desire to help anyone in need. He loved to spend his time with his close friends and was always attracting new friends with his bright and inviting personality, which was a trait he shared with his son. Nick and his son, Tyler, shared a gift for making everyone feel welcome in their company. Nick and Tyler always brought laughter, smiles, joy and of course jokes to any situation.

Nick loved to be in nature and took every opportunity to do so, including hunting both archery and rifles and countless unforgettable trips to Sure Shot Camp. Nick's most recent hobby was golf, which combined his love for the outdoors and spending quality time with his friends. Nick had a passion for riding motorcycles and sharing that love with his son, Tyler, his family and friends brought him so much happiness. Nick was an endlessly loving husband, father, friend and son, who will be missed dearly by those whose lives he touched.

In addition to his wife and parents, Nick is survived by one brother, Jeramie (Carrie) Reynolds, their daughter, Grace, one sister, Raeanne Reynolds, and one stepbrother, James Horner, father-in-law, Robert Vizza, mother-in-law, Diane Vizza and brother-in-law; David Vizza. Nick is also survived by his closest friends that were and always will be like family.

Nick was preceded in passing by his son, Tyler Lewis Reynolds, with whom he is happily riding alongside again.

Nick was also preceded by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

In lieu of flowers the family would like memorial donations to be made in Nick's name to DuSan Ambulance Service, 835 Beaver Dr., DuBois, PA 15851. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, July 2, 2022, from 3-5 p.m. at the Tri County Church, 1881 Old 255 Road, DuBois, PA 15801. A memorial service will take place immediately following the viewing beginning at 5 p.m. and officiated by Pastor Keith Newell. Services have been entrusted to the Snyder – d'Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15801.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
I saw Nick about a month ago. I introduced myself and told him I used to babysit him and Jeramie years ago in Brockway. We had a nice chat. His smile was infectious.
My heart goes out to your entire family.

Nick and I grew up together from elementary school onward, and I'll never forget his kindness, humor, and way of putting other people at ease. Nick was one of those truly goodhearted people, even as a little kid with that twinkle in his eyes. I am so deeply sorry for the loss this must be to his family and close friends. Holding you all in the light as you mourn.

My heart hurts so much for the Reynolds and Vizza families. Nick was truly one of a kind and thru the years after graduation I've loved that he and I would keep in contact about the most random of things. He will be missed by so many.
