Sending my deepest sympathy to the Simeo family. Nicky & I were first cousins. My mom, Nancy, and his father were sister & brother. The entire family would visit my Grandmom Simeo every Sunday & I would have the chance to play & fight with Nicky. I always enjoyed my "Nicky visits", we were closest in age, only a year apart.
After all of these years the silliest memory I have of Nicky has to be his mayonnaise sandwiches. Nicky didn't like ham, cheese or most of the stuff people usually put in their sandwiches. Nicky would ask his mom, my dear Aunt Millie, to make him a mayonnaise sandwich. All of the kids would be sitting at the kitchen table eating their normal sandwiches and Nicky would be there, big smile on his face, eating his mayonnaise dripping sandwich.
Rest in peace Cuz, will miss you & will always treasure our childhood memories.

Nick, back in the day some might say way back in the day. The memories were great from the baseball field to the Bancroft street house to the Pizzo parties. And of course the fishing trips, my first deep sea trip was taken with you and that young boats mates who was also the most consistent side arm pitcher I know. No matter how many time we tried to get him to throw any other way. Just thinking about those games brings laughter to my thoughts, What a time, what a friendship, even though we lost touch through the years. I would see Linda often in the neighborhood and she would catch me up on all the kids and the grand kids and yes and on you also. It is sad that we just reconnected on face book and never got a chance to get together in person. Sadly life had other plans. But I will always treasure the memories that we shared with your family. Trish and I send our deepest condolences to Donnie, Damien, Nicholas, Amy and Kim, may you rest in peace my friend, you were one of a kind and are definitely better for having known you.
