Nicholas Warren, Sr., cherished father, dedicated serviceman, and beloved friend, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2024, at the age of 76 in Hephzibah, Georgia. Born on December 7, 1947, in Augusta, Georgia, Nicholas spent his life rooted in the community he loved and served, leaving behind a legacy that will echo through generations.
Nicholas's journey was marked by commitment and bravery, as he proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. His courage and selflessness defined his character, and the experiences he endured shaped the values he imparted to his family. After his service, Nicholas transitioned to a fulfilling career in construction, where he spent many years contributing to the landscapes of his hometown and beyond.
An adoring father, Nicholas leaves behind Nicholas Warren III, Donna Ryans, Bernard Warren, Julian Warren, and Natasha Gay. Each of his children carries a piece of him in their hearts, embodying his principles of integrity, hard work, and love. Nicholas was not just a father; he was a source of strength and guidance, teaching his children the importance of kindness and compassion. His laughter and sage advice will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will continue to inspire them.
Nicholas understood the value of family gathered together, and he would have cherished to see them united to celebrate his life. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, December 7, 2024, at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta, Georgia. Friends and family are invited to join together in loving remembrance from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, sharing stories that reflect his vibrant spirit and the joy he brought into their lives.
As the sun sets on the life of Nicholas Warren, Sr., we remember a man who taught us the essence of community, the value of perseverance, and the significance of love. His memory will remain alive in the hearts of those who knew him, a shining example of how one life can make an everlasting impact.
