My heart goes out to the family of Sir Nicholas Winton for your recent loss. This loss is also a loss to the human race. I just learned about the deeds of this remarkable man, only to learn that he died 17 days ago.What an amazing man! His story brings joy and hope for the good of all mankind!My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

Although Nicky was agnostic, nevertheless, God believed in him and chose him to save precious lives. How much better this world be if there were more like him.

What an inspiriting life story. Rarely do you hear of such persons risking their lives to save the lives of others especially the lives of children. Surely Jesus had Nicholas Winton in mind when he spoke the words at Luke 23:43. My deepest sympathy for the loss of a life well lived!

I'm neither Jewish nor religious in any way shape or form, but after hearing of Nicholas Winton and reading the book, I found a man who asked noting in return for his selfless action, a hero, not a man of war but not afraid to step in and help. Deepest condolences to family and friends.

As God's appointed guardian angel to protect and guide all God's children to safety and live long and fruitful lives. Sir Nicholas Winton was such fine man and, as of today, my favorite "historical " figure.

It's an honor to know there have been loving caring people in this world that thought of the lives of others. May we all take a lesson of love from this mans legacy. I saw a television program honoring his, where the children he saved got together by special invitation as a surprise to him to thank him, they were all adults at the time. It was a wonderful acknowledgement for a very noble act that he was able to preserve the lives of hundreds of Jewish children. I've no doubt he did many other great things in his life time. I'm sure God blessed him for what he did to save people!
He must of had a great blessing on his 105th birthday and possibly earlier to meet people from those he saved.

I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that I am thinking of the family and hope the beautiful promise at Is. 25:8 provides a measure of hope and comfort during this difficult time.
