Nichole Lynn Warner, 35 years old, of Verona, WI, passed away on December 15th, 2022.
Nichole was born on September 29th, 1987 to Leroy and Diane Warner. Nichole graduated from Evansville High School in 2006. She began her college career studying nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and completed her degree with honors in 2012 at Edgewood College in Madison, WI. She began her 10-year nursing career working in the neurology ICU at UW Hospital in Madison. She then transferred to the infectious disease clinic where she continued her career for nearly 8 years; during those years, she touched hundreds of patients' lives and positively impacted those around her. In 2022, Nichole returned to Edgewood College to earn her Master of Science in Nursing to become a nurse practitioner. She had been accepted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing because of her hard work, and she was due to graduate in the summer of 2024.
Nichole met her longtime companion, Andrew Kieper, through a mutual friend in 2011. Their relationship quickly blossomed into a long, loving partnership that still carries on today. Together they had two dogs, Kota the husky and Auggie the corgi. Nichole was an exceptionally loving dog mama and was hoping to start her own family. Nichole was preceded in death by her father Leroy Warner and Andrew's sister Nicole Kieper. Nichole is survived by her mother Diane Warner, her two brothers Ken and James (Ashley) Warner, her nephew Michael Warner, her niece Ravyn Warner, grandparents Dave and Kathleen Warner, uncle David Warner, aunt Chris (Don) Clark, and uncle Dan (Angela) Warner. Her loving partner and best friend Andrew Kieper, his father and mother William and Cynthia Kieper, and their daughter Heather Kieper, her two children Asher and Aanjay Kieper, as well as the greatest group of loving friends any person could ever hope to have.
Nichole was an avid traveler; she and Andrew enjoyed many adventures over the years. They traveled the world from Colorado to the Netherlands and many other destinations in between. One of her favorite trips was to Italy in 2016. Nichole and Andrew were planning to have many more adventures around the world together.
Nichole was a pillar of love and support to everyone around her. She had many loves, including her family and friends, her puppies, frogs, poppies, and the color green. She enjoyed regular trips to vineyards and breweries and was a self-certified "beer snob." She was always willing to try whatever local delicacies and treats were available (unless it was fishy, fish was a no-go).
Nichole Lynn Warner was fiercely loyal to her family and friends. We will all remember her warm, smart, and sassy heart, as well as her endless supply of witty humor and her contagious, heartwarming laugh. Everyone needs a friend like her in their corner.
A visitation for Nichole will be held at Ryan Funeral Home in Verona WI on Thursday, December 29th from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. followed by a short service. There will also be a celebration of life ceremony held at a date and place to be determined.
