Obituary published on Legacy.com by Voran Funeral Home - Taylor Chapel on Dec. 19, 2025.
Nicholas Ryan Farley, known affectionately as Nick to his friends and family, lived a life that was as vibrant and impactful as it was unexpectedly brief. Born on April 7, 1990, in the welcoming community of
Farmington Hills, Michigan, Nick's journey was one marked by an unwavering zest for life and a heart that knew no bounds. His sudden departure on December 15, 2025, in Wyandotte, Michigan, due to heart complications, has left a void that can only be filled by the countless memories he created with all who knew him.
Nick's life was a testament to the power of love and dedication. His 18-year relationship with his beloved wife, Staci, seven of which they spent as husband and wife, was a beautiful dance of mutual support and affection. Together, they were raising two wonderful children, Theodore and Eleanor, who were the apples of their father's eye. Nick's love for his family was a beacon that shone brightly, guiding them through life's challenges and triumphs.
He was a son to Renee, a brother to Taylor, and a cherished grandson to Toni and her late husband Oat Farley. His role as an uncle to Charlie Prescott was one he embraced with joy and humor. Nick's family was the cornerstone of his existence, and he was the glue that held them together with his funny, selfless, and loving nature.
Nick's athleticism and passion for fitness were as much a part of him as his infectious laugh. He was a devoted family man who found his greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as cheering on the Detroit Red Wings or engaging in friendly wagers on Fan Duel. His pursuit of excellence was evident in everything he did, earning him the reputation of a jack of all trades. Nick's love for dogs, especially breeding French Bulldogs, was more than a hobby; it was a reflection of his caring and nurturing spirit.
His interests were as diverse as his talents. Nick relished the great outdoors, finding solace in camping under the stars, fishing in the tranquility of nature, and bowling strikes with precision. These activities were not just pastimes but chapters in the story of a man who embraced every moment with enthusiasm and grace.
As we remember Nick, let us be inspired by the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, "Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." Nick indeed left a trail-one that is etched in the hearts and minds of all who were fortunate enough to cross his path. His legacy is not one of sorrow but of inspiration, urging us to live fully, love deeply, and laugh heartily.
In celebrating the life of Nicholas Ryan Farley, we honor a man whose light continues to shine in the lives he touched. His story encourages us to rise above the ordinary, to seek out the extraordinary, and to cherish every moment with the people we love. Nick's journey may have reached its sunset, but the warmth of his spirit remains a guiding light for us all.
