Nicole Ann Auer, 38, of West Hartford, died suddenly Saturday June 13, 2009. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she is the daughter of Sheila (Sykes) Blum and step-daughter of William Blum of West Hartford, and the daughter of Peter Auer of Pembrook Pines, FL. She is engaged to Harry Lukaszewski of Bristol. "Nikki" attended New York schools and worked for Toys-R-Us and currently for the Town of West Hartford helping co-ordinate events at the Elmwood Senior/Community Center. She cherished her family, loved helping others, and was always giving of herself for friends and family. Besides her parents and step-father, she is survived by her four sisters and a brother; Anna Lockhart of Brooklyn, NY; Gail MacDonald of So. Windsor; Charles Auer of Pembrook Pines; Cynthia Massey and Luella Pinkney both of West Hartford. Her aunt Valerie Pasquarelli and her husband John of West Hartford, her nieces and nephews; Michael, Marc, Christa, Kyle, Jesse, Cierra and Briana, and her Godfather Ervin West in North Carolina also survive her. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at a memorial services on Wednesday June 17, at 1:00 p.m. in the Elmwood Senior/Community Center (2nd Floor) 1106 New Britain Ave. West Hartford, CT.
