Nicole Whitney Grogan

2002 - 2025

Nicole Whitney Grogan, 22, a resident of Sandgate, Vermont tragically passed away on January 1st, 2025. She was born in Bennington, VT on November 18th, 2002 to Heath Grogan and the late Crystal Telford. Nicole was raised in Hoosick Falls, NY before moving to Sandgate, VT. She was educated at Hoosick Falls Central School, Arlington Memorial and Burr and Burton Academy. During her younger years, Nicole could always be found by her dad's side. She loved to spend every minute with him and join him on every errand, no matter how small. As she grew older, she developed the same passion for animals as both of her parents and she had a special soft spot for horses. Nicole was a very empathetic person and she could light up any room with her smile. Nicole's pride and joy in life was being a mother. She devoted all of her time to her daughter, Hazel, and recently gave birth to her second child, Oliver Gray on December 20th, 2024. Oliver passed away alongside his mother on January 1st, 2025. Nicole is survived by her daughter, Hazel Paige; her father, Heath Grogan; five siblings, Jordan Telford (Amy), Sandy Grogan, Brook Grogan, Dawn Grogan, Kennen Grogan; two step-siblings, Codi King and Olivia Clark; her grandmother, Mary Higgins; three aunts; Vonda Grogan, Wendy Tyrone and Michelle Flower and two uncles; William J. Grogan, Jr., and Paul Higgins. Nicole is also survived by many other family members, including several nieces, nephews and cousins. Nicole was predeceased by her mother Crystal L. Telford in 2021. She is also predeceased by three grandparents, Bernard Higgins, Patricia Grogan and William J. Grogan, Sr. At this time, there will be no services for Nicole.
