Nicole Joy Kulas (Nichole Joy Bailey), 41, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024, in Gainesville, Florida. Nicole Kulas was born in Binghamton, New York, on December 17, 1982, to Jacque Lynn Bailey-Warren (married to John Warren). Ms. Kulas was adopted by Pamela Bailey-Kulas (deceased), Thomas B. Kulas, and her brother Adam J. Kulas (deceased). She is survived by her biological mother, stepfather, adoptive father, as well as many siblings. In her life, Ms. Kulas enjoyed singing, playing the cello, gardening, cooking, softball, and being a mother to a big family. Ms. Kulas went on to have eight children: Karlie Rickard (married to John Rickard), John Powell Jr., Joshua Powell, Jeremiah Powell, Kayla Powell, Jason Powell, Kelsie Powell, and Kaylee Powell. Ms. Kulas also welcomed her first grandchild, Luke Rickard, on January 8, 2024. Nicole Kulas was a wonderful daughter, mother, and friend. She will continue to be loved and mourned by many.
Private Graveside Services will be held in Riverview Cemetery, Harpursville. Online condolences may be made at: www.omaddenfh.com. Arrangements by the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville. A MADDEN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME.

I love you mommy. Thank you for giving me life and I´ll always make sure the kids and your grandson Luke know how much you loved them. I miss you and all the good memories we had every day. You used to sit up all night straightening my hair for school and doing my makeup for choir concerts. I also remember when you tricked me into trying cheesecake for the first time. It´s been my birthday cake almost every year now. The last day I spoke with you was my birthday and you were so excited at all the videos and photos I showed you of baby Luke. I´ll forever cherish that. I love you. Rest in peace
