Mrs. Nicole M. (Pavon) Nixon, of Waltham, died Friday, January 31, 2025 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She was 47.
Nicole was born in Fairfax, Virginia on May 30, 1977, a daughter of the late Jane R. Oates, and had lived in Waltham for more than forty years. She was a 1996 graduate of Waltham High School.
She worked for more than twenty-five years at the Stop & Shop on Pleasant Street in Watertown where she made many friends among co-workers and customers.
She leaves her husband, Daniel J. Nixon; her son, Sebastian W. Nixon and her father and mother-in-law, Joe and Kip Nixon, all of Waltham.
Family and friends will honor and remember Nicole's life by gathering for an Evening Wake in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Thursday, February 6th from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Friday morning when her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
