Nicole Christine Wood

Nicole Christine Wood, a radiant soul who touched the lives of everyone she encountered, departed this world unexpectedly on November 25, 2025. She was born on February 14, 1988, in Lansing, the daughter of Steven and Tammy (Cothern) Wood. Nicole embodied the spirit of love and kindness from the very beginning. Her caring and helpful nature made a lasting impression on not only her family and friends but all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Nicole's days were filled with simple yet fulfilling joys, whether it was spending time outdoors soaking in the beauty of nature, casting her fishing line, or indulging in her creativity through arts and crafts. She held a special affection for collecting coins and antiques, where each piece told a unique story, much like Nicole’s own life—rich with experiences and memories.

Nicole is survived by her son, Cameron Lee; daughter, Victoria Aguirre; parents, Steve and Tammy Wood; sister, Ashley Wood; grandmother, Rosemary Wood; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gary and Carol Hampton and Earl Wood.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Nicole's life will take place at a later date.

Those desiring may make contributions in Nicole's memory to her parents to be used for Cameron and Victoria's education.
