Nicolette Bearden-Walmsley, age 51, passed away on November 22, 2025. She was born on April 21, 1974, in Rochester, Michigan, to Danny Bearden and Nikki Parris.
To those fortunate enough to know her, Nicolette was many things-Nicolette, Lovey, Aunt Rapunzel-each name reflecting the love and admiration she inspired. Anyone who knew her for five minutes or 51 years, she made a lasting impact. Her laugh was unforgettable, contagious, bright, and capable of lifting the heaviest of hearts. Her hugs were warm and grounding, her presence able to shift the atmosphere of an entire room. Nicolette made everyone feel seen, cherished, and truly special.
A woman of deep compassion, she constantly thought of others. Known for her stunning long red hair, she donated it many times to provide wigs for children with cancer, always saying, "Beautiful little redheads need their hair." Her kindness extended far beyond people; she held a profound connection to nature and recognized the worth of every living creature, from raccoons to the tiniest bees she and Jay lovingly cared for. She nurtured not only animals but also her living plants, taking joy in gardening, growing, and harvesting with the seasons.
Nicolette was an artist in every sense. She loved cooking, crafting, even cleaning, and poured her heart fully into anything she touched. She gave 100% to the people she loved, offering her time, attention, and care without hesitation. Hosting brought her joy-gatherings at the Shangri-La, cozy bonfires, afternoons in the garden, or evenings spent in the basement dancing to music. She cherished riding on the bike with Jay during the warm summer and colorful fall months, embracing the beauty of the world around her.
Nature was her sanctuary. Creativity was her language. And love was her gift to everyone she encountered.
Nicolette was a light in every life she touched. Her mission was simple-to make you smile. She had a quick wit, a playful wink, and a heart that was always ready to help. She was the first to drop everything for anyone in need, offering comfort, laughter, and unwavering support.
Her spirit, generosity, and radiant warmth will continue to guide and inspire all who were blessed to know her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Jason; her parents, Danny Bearden and Nikki Parris; sister, Erin Bearden, nieces and nephews, Kristen (Jon) Perry, Leah (Mike) Beebe, and Ryan (Alexious) Kain; her beloved cats, Eyes, Luna, Minnie, and Cow Cat; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
