Nicolette Anne Marie Kelley

Nicolette Ann Kelley, "Nickie", 97, of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on May 5, 2024.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Arthur and Rosalina D'Ortona, Nicolette was a longtime resident of Willingboro NJ, 25-year resident of Mount Laurel and most recently, Cherry Hill. A graduate of Immaculata University, Nicolette received her Masters in mathematics. Prior to retiring in 1995, Nicolette was a cherished Math and Science teacher at Corpus Christi School for over 31 years where her thirst for knowledge was shared with her many students, in and out of the classroom, Nickie stayed involved in her students lives long after they graduated. She was a devoted parishioner of Corpus Christi Church and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society, their Senior Citizens Club and the Renew faith group.
An educated and faith filled woman, Nicolette was strong willed and knew what she wanted. She enjoyed sharing her love of cooking with family and friends and spent many hours knitting works of art. Nickie and her late husband, John relished family vacations at the Jersey shore and other adventures. They also enjoyed traveling to Europe, Italy and attending conferences in Amsterdam. Those whose lives were touched by Nicolette will miss her dearly.
Beloved wife of the late John J. Kelley; loving mother of the late, Karen Anne Thomas and dear mother-in-law of Edward Thomas; loving mother of John (Leigh Sherin) Kelley and David (Michele) Kelley; cherished grandmother of Sean Thomas and Brian Thomas.
Relatives and friends are invited to Nicolette's viewing on Monday evening, May 13, 2024, 5:00 - 7:00 PM and Tuesday morning, May 14, 2024, 8:15 - 10:15 AM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, 11:00 AM at Corpus Christi RC Church, 11 S. Sunset Road, Willingboro, NJ 08046. Entombment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
