Obituary of Nicolina Cirillo

With deep love and sorrow, the Cirillo family announces the peaceful passing of Nicolina Cirillo, age 99, at her home in Jackson, New Jersey. Born on February 27, 1926, in Manhattan, NY, Nicolina lived a long, beautiful life centered around faith, family, and kindness.

Nicolina was a woman of strong devotion who supported her faith throughout her life. She found comfort, strength, and guidance in her religious beliefs and passed those values on to her family. Her gentle spirit and unwavering faith were reflected in the way she treated everyone-with compassion, generosity, and love.

She was known for her caring heart and her remarkable ability to remember and cherish everyone she held dear. Nicolina never forgot a face, a name, or a moment shared. Her family was the center of her world, and she made sure each person felt valued and loved.

Nicolina took great pride in her work. She spent many years as a Dietary Aide at Victory Memorial Hospital in Brooklyn, where she worked with dedication and care. After retiring, she moved to New Jersey to be closer to her grandchildren-one of her greatest joys in life. Never one to rest, she continued to work as an aide on school buses in Freehold, supporting children with special needs. She loved this role deeply and spoke often about how meaningful it was to her.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dominick Cirillo, as well as her sisters Theresa Alessandro and Rose Alessandro, whom she now joins in eternal rest.

Nicolina leaves behind her devoted children, Barbara Cirillo and Anthony Cirillo, and her daughter-in-law Karen Cirillo. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Anthony Cirillo and Nicole Zwickel. Her joy only grew with the arrival of her great-grandchildren: Anthony and his wife Danielle with their children Austin and Ella, and Nicole and her husband Brian, with their son Mason and another precious baby on the way. She also cherished her many nieces and nephews, holding each of them close to her heart throughout her life.

Nicolina's legacy is one of warmth, faith, dedication, and endless love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:30 AM Funeral Mass on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township.
