Nidia Ester Torres

A great mind once said, "Life is better when you're laughing," and clearly, Nidia Ester Torres, or "Tata" as she was fondly known, took this advice to heart. Born on August 26th, 1969, in Springfield, MA, Tata was the epitome of funny, loyal, resilient, and witty. A natural comedienne, she brightened up Springfield, Massachusetts, and The Western Mass area, with her infectious laughter and vivacious spirit until her departure on May 13th, 2024.
Tata's life was an open book filled with funny anecdotes, heartwarming stories, and a whole lot of love. She was a woman who embraced life passionately and loved her children, Jordan H Torres and Jerrick D Simmons and life partner, Marvin Darnell Simmons. Her family will fondly remember Tata's loyalty and resilience. She now joins her parents, Luz Colon and William Colon, in the great beyond, leaving behind a legacy of joy, laughter, and love.
She leaves behind, her two sons, Jordan H Torres and Jerrick D Simmons, her two brothers Angel Colon and Junior Colon, a plethora of family and friends and her life partner Marvin D Simmons.
