Nikole Kay Nelson

Nikole Kay Salisbury Nelson, 53, of Booneville, Arkansas passed from this life on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, in her home near Booneville, Arkansas. She was born June 3, 1972, in Prescott, Arkansas to Leslie and Janice (Hugg) Salisbury.

Nikole was a mother and homemaker, a gold star wife, hobby farmer, miniature livestock extraordinaire and the owner of "Good Grief Farm". She enjoyed reading and shopping.

She is preceded in death by her husband William J. Nelson.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Heritage Global Methodist Church in Van Buren, Arkansas with burial in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M., Prior to the service at the church.

She is survived by 2 sons, Landon Cates and wife Micaela of Rogers, Arkansas and Mark Nelson of Booneville, Arkansas; 2 daughters, Lauren Cates of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Megan Nelson-Jones and husband Weston of Rogers, Arkansas: Parents, Leslie and Janice Salisbury of Booneville; 1 brother, Shannon Salisbury of Chester, Arkansas; 3 grandchildren, Naomi Wyldson, Sophia Wyldson and Melody Jones.
