Nilima Rohara

With profound sorrow, I, Satish Nambiar, share the passing of my beloved wife, Nilima Rohara, also affectionately known as Pinky, on December 7, 2025. Born on September 28, 1976, Nilima was a beacon of love, grace, and resilience. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother, and a wonderful human being, embodying the qualities of thoughtfulness and loyalty in all aspects of her life.

Nilima decided to give up her career to focus on her family, and she did it with an unmatched zeal. Her family, especially the well-being and education of our children, Sahil and Shreya, were her priorities. She was the embodiment of a nurturing mother and a supportive wife, always ensuring that our home was filled with love, warmth, and the aroma of her exceptional cooking. Nilima had a penchant for movies, treasured beach visits, and loved traveling.

Her loss is deeply mourned by her mother, Kunjamma Rohara, her brother, Dinesh Rohara and sister-in-law, Sandhra George, and of course, our children, Sahil and Shreya, and myself. Nilima's life was a testament to the quote by Helen Keller, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." This was the philosophy she lived by and the legacy she leaves behind.
