Nils Pascuzzi Obituary
Shawn enlisted in the USAF on December 30, 1970 and retired as MSGT on May 31, 1991. Shawn then combined his passion of leather work and military history into a thriving business of creating authentic US Cavalry saddles and tack. Shawn was well known and respected for his modern-built McClellan saddles and tack, which were period-correct and built to last. He traveled the state and nation to engage in Civil War reenactments and Indian battle reenactments.
Shawn was a proud Master Mason for over 42 years. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #570 AF & AM of San Angelo, Texas, serving as Worshipful Master on three different occasions. Shawn mentored and taught many Entered Apprentice, Fellow Craft & Master Masons. He was also a member of San Angelo Elks Lodge #1880.
Shawn is survived by his step-son, Daniel Gill of Arlington, TX; brothers, Todd Pascuzzi of Pittsburgh, PA, Greg Pascuzzi of Cape Saint Claire, MD, Kevin Pascuzzi of Pittsburgh, PA; niece Julie Mahler and great nephew, Leo of Clifton Forge, VA.
Shawn had a quiet presence and was always generous with his time and talent. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 13 at Officer's Quarters #8 at Fort Concho, 215 East Ave D, San Angelo, TX.

i met shawn many years ago . he was a very kind and giving man..thru the years he handmade me several leather items that were always of top quality. he will sorely missed.
