Nina Sue McClain

Nina Sue McClain, 81, of 325 Goodjoin Road Campobello, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021 at her residence. Nina was born in Anderson, South Carolina on May 16, 1940, a daughter of the late Vester Louise (Holcomb) Cooper and Samuel Taylor "S.T." Cooper and was the wife of Rev. Jimmy "Champ" McClain. She was a member of Mt. View Church of God of Prophecy in Campobello, South Carolina. In addition to her husband, she is also survived by one son, Sammy McClain and his wife Susan; and one daughter, Karen Rosenthal and her husband Bob; one sister, Alta Faye Vanadore; five grandchildren, Sammy McClain, Jr., Tonya Harris, Andrew McClain, Lacey Matthews and Chelsea Bentley along with fourteen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by one sister, Joan Mildred Davis and one brother, Jerry Frank Cooper. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Mt. View Church of God of Prophecy in Campobello, South Carolina. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Barry Looper and Rev. Eddie Crocker officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family is at the home.
