Nina Louise Robles, age 74, of Chillicothe, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria.
Nina was born on May 7, 1948 in Peoria, Illinois to Lloyd and Maxine (Edwards) Pruett. She married Armando Robles on August 2, 1975 in Peoria.
Surviving are her husband, Armando; their children, Gina (Fred) Reyling of Chillicothe, IL, Aaron Hawksworth of Washington State; and Christopher (Rowana) Robles of Chillicothe, IL; six grandchildren, Miranda (Nick) Gordon, Michael Donnelly, Veronica and Samuel Hawksworth, and Micah and Hank Robles; two great-grandchildren, Nora and Alina Gordon; and many beloved extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Joey McCormick; her sister, Rozella Goard; and her brother, James Pruett.
Nina was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She taught aerobics classes at Shore Acres for 22 years and even raised money through her classes for Rescue 33. Nina and Armando loved to travel; they traveled abroad, even renewing their wedding vows on the beach while traveling to Fiji and Belize. She also loved her rescue dogs, each with their own little quirks and personalities. Above all, she absolutely adored her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials in her name may be made to The ARK or the Juvenile Diabetes Association. Arrangements are under the care of Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.

Nina was one of the most giving, loving persons I know. She shared her laugh, her love of exercising, her swimming pool and many PBJ sandwiches with me and my kids. I will have a special place in my heart forever for her.

My heart is broken. Nina was a very special lady and I loved her dearly. She always welcomed me, Darcy and Matt into her home and swimming pool. Many a peanut butter and jelly sandwich was shared. God love her.
