Nina Alveria Speicher

Nina Miller Speicher, 92, of Candler passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, January 27, 2022. A native of Dart, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Ferman Alfred and Garnett June Kendall Miller. In addition to her parents, Nina was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.
In Proverbs 31:25-26, "She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future, when she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness." Nina displayed these characteristics in Proverbs as a mother and caretaker. She was determined, hardworking, and a provider for her five beautiful children. In the quiet moments, you could find Nina sewing and crocheting beautiful Afghan blankets.
She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Crane of Canton and Connie Burnett of Candler; three sons, Howard Anguish and his wife, Susan, Kenneth Anguish and his wife, Kris, and Tracy Anguish and his wife, Terri, all of Florida; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2022, in the Wells Chapel of Faith, 1 Chapel of Faith Drive, Candler, NC with Les Wicker officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Wells Chapel of Faith.
The care of Mrs. Speicher has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Candler.
