Nina Thompson Obituary

Nina was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother. Her grandchildren played a very important part of her life, and called her "Granny". She was a beautician and nurse and enjoyed the outdoors riding horses and farming. She never met a stranger and will be greatly missed. She is now in heaven in her forever home with other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Pearl Cox; brothers, Vernon Cox, Norman Cox and Roy Cox; daughter, Teena Daniels; husband, Jimmy Thompson; and a step-son, "Jimbo" Thompson.
Nina is survived by daughter, Janet Albritton; granddaughters, Kristy Whitley and Angelia Albritton; great grandkids, Brody Latner, Troy Latner, Kemberlee Sullivan, Imogene Whitley, L.J. (John) Whitley III, Emily Ellis, Fiona Ellis, and Marla Ellis; and her dog, Pretty Boy.
Graveside services for Nina will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Chambers Day Cemetery at 11:00am with Stephen Gumpert officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home.
