Mr. Noah Albert Benefield, age 88 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025. He was born on September 28, 1936 in Cedartown. He was the son of the late John Albert and Cora Lucille West Benefield.
Noah spent his entire life in his beloved Polk County, Georgia. Known for his warm personality, he was a familiar and cherished face throughout the Polk County community. He worked for many years with Benefield Construction Company of Cedartown before retiring.
Noah was a dedicated Master Mason for over fifty years and a proud member of Caledonia Lodge 121 F & AM. He was also a 32nd degree member of the Scottish Rite and a member of the Cedar Valley Shrine. His faith was an important part of his life, and he attended both Wimberly Hill and Worldview Baptist Church faithfully over the years.
Mr. Benefield was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Shirley Louise Packer Benefield; his four sons, John Daniel Benefield, Phillip Andrew Benefield, Jeffery Clyde Benefield and Chris Albert Benefield and sister, Cora Irene Benefield.
Mr. Benefield is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Allen; sons, David Benefield and Tim Benefield; brothers, William Benefield, Buddy Benefield and Joe Benefield; sister, Carolyn Sullins Benefield; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and a large number of nieces, nephews and cousins who will remember him with love and admiration.
A graveside service for Mr. Noah Benefield will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at eleven o'clock in the morning in the family lot of Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Eddie Benefield officiating.
