Noah Kaib Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation Svcs., Inc. - West View on Feb. 19, 2026.
Noah Patrick Kaib, 26, Born on March 17, 1999, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, surrendered his spirit to the Lord on February 14, 2026, surrounded by his family after a long and difficult battle that he faced with more courage than most people will ever know. Through his life, Noah's heart remained soft, and his spirit touched countless lives along the way.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Noah grew up in Troy Hill, a tight-knit neighborhood where he shared laughter, friendships, and dreams for the future. He was known for his gentle nature, his quiet resilience, and the way he cared deeply for others - even as he struggled through challenges of his own. He held great memories of growing up in Troy Hill; playing release, it-tag and hide and seek with neighbor friends.

Noah was strong. Despite everything he endured - hospital stays and health issues - Noah continued to show moments of kindness, honesty, strength, and hope. Those who knew him will remember his soft voice, his humility, and the way he never pretended to be anything other than who he was.

He spoke openly about his journey, not to seek pity, but in hopes that others might find help, understanding, and compassion. His story is a reminder of how deeply humans are loved, and how deeply vulnerable we all are.

Noah is survived by his family who loved him more than words could express, and who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. He leaves behind parents Al "Pops" and Theresa. Loving brother to Nicole (Jason), Zachary (Kristen), Andrew (Elizabeth), Nathaniel (Nikki), Elijah, and Aidan. He is Uncle Noah to Renwick, Liam, Jaaziah, Preston, Ethan, and Violet. His Grandparents Al Kaib Sr and Helen. Numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Noah was especially close with his Aunt Sandy and cousins Will and Shelby. He is preceded in death by Grandparents Ron and Ruth Straight, Uncle Ron Straight Jr., Aunt Barb Lucas, and cousin Joseph Leverrett Jr. "Patchez".

Noah will be remembered for his quirky smile, sense of humor, his beautiful blue eyes, and hair. He was fascinated with current events, politics, and the world of finance. He kept journals with poetry, doodles, and music lyrics. Most of all he will be remembered by family and friends for his kindness, good nature, and love for them. Noah will be missed and remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Noah's family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the entire team of doctors and nurses at Temple University Hospital. A very special thank you goes to Jackie, whose kindness, patience, and steadfast support during his many stays brought comfort and reassurance when it was needed most.

A memorial service will be held for family and friends on February 28th at 12:00 noon at Most Holy Name of Jesus church located at 1700 Harpster Street, Pgh PA, 15212. (Troy Hill) In honor of Noah's life, the family asks that donations be made in Noah Kaib's memory to https://savagesisters.org A "Celebration of Noah's Life" will be held at a later date.

Noah's journey was not defined by the battles he faced, but by the love he gave, the tenderness he carried, and the courage he showed. May he feel the peace he fought so hard to obtain.
