Noah Kramer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel on Jan. 7, 2026.
Our beloved son, Noah Matthew Kramer, was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus and Mother Mary on Sunday, January 4th at 12:50 p.m. He passed at home, held in the arms of his Mommy and Daddy, the two places he loved most.

Noah was born on September 3rd, 2025 at 9:22 p.m., arriving first and making way for his twin sister, Ella Kay, who followed closely behind. They shared a closeness only twins can have, comforting and loving each other in every way. Ella helped keep Noah warm and loved lying beside him beneath his many fleece blankets. Though their time together was brief, Noah and Ella's special connection will live on forever through her.

Most of Noah's life was spent at home, with the exception of a month-long PICU stay, where he quickly became a favorite among the nurses, cuddling and watching Hallmark movies while Mommy and Daddy rested. Life at home was simple and quiet (as much as possible with a toddler and twin sister), teaching us that life is a precious gift-one worth slowing down for and cherishing deeply.

Noah's days were filled with his favorite things: sitting in front of the Christmas tree with its lights sparkling in his eyes, watching his favorite "show" (an aquarium toy), cuddling with his beloved elephant that kept him cozy, sucking on his pacifiers, and-most memorably-snuggling with Mommy and Daddy while they gently tapped his little bum for hours. He loved being rocked while Mommy sang to him and cherished every moment in her arms.

Noah was named after the biblical figure who braved the great flood, and from his very first moments, he lived that meaning-courageously weathering a flood within his own brain. His life became not an ark, but an arc: a story of resilience, love, and grace that will carry forward forever.

Thanks to his big sister Avila Rose, Noah had many nicknames-Nona being her all-time favorite. Mommy and Daddy lovingly called him Mr. Man, Little Man, and Mr. Monkey Man. We often joked that Noah was our very particular little "old man"; if things weren't done just right, he wasn't afraid to let you know. He loved lying on his left side, having his bum tapped just so, his chin held gently while he sucked on his pacifier. He was the ultimate cuddle bug and could always be soothed by his Mommy's touch. If he wasn't in her arms, he was being held closely by his Daddy or grandparents.

Noah had a way of quieting our hearts and souls as only he could. His life was a tremendous gift to so many-whether they met him in person or not. In his short yet beautiful life, he touched countless hearts. He fought the good fight and will always be our miracle child, defying the odds placed before him. He was truly an angel on this earth, teaching us unconditional love and reminding us that heaven awaits us all-if we choose to listen for the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant."

Our hearts are filled with gratitude for the compassion, dedication, and unwavering care of the doctors, specialists, and nurses who lovingly cared for our son. Our family will always hold deep appreciation for the many people who walked beside us through prayer, generosity, and the gift of their time. We have no doubt that Noah's life will continue to be a blessing to many.

Noah is forever loved and adored by his parents, Sydney and Nicholas Kramer; his sisters, Avila Rose and Ella Kay; his paternal grandparents, Matthew and Debbie Kramer; and his maternal grandparents, Rodney and Kristi Sutten. He is also deeply loved by his aunts, uncles, cousins, great-grandparents, and Godparents.

Noah's story will forever shape our hearts and lives. He has officially made it home to the most beautiful "Bahamas" ;).

A private family funeral will take place in Michigan on Thursday, January 8th, at St. Basil the Great Byzantine Catholic Church. A larger Memorial Mass will follow at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 16th, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Church in Watertown, South Dakota, with Father Shaun Haggerty as celebrant.
