I was notified last week that Noah Talley passed away. This news came as a great shock to me as we have competed against each other in biking for the past several years. Noah was an extremely talented rider but his work ethic and dedication to training put him on a whole new level. I'll never forget racing against Noah in what was one of his first Pro races in the Draper Intermountain Cup race. From the moment the gun went off it became a race for 2nd as Noah took off guns a blazin'. In that race I took 2nd place and Noah won by several minutes in a 2 hour race. If Noah was in the lead he created bigger and bigger gaps that made him near impossible to reel in. It was always super intense to race against Noah because he was half my age and had the heart of a Lion. Noah and I went back and forth on some tough Strava King of the Mountain (KOM) segments and at times it would take me over a year to beat his best effort. I learned countless lessons from Noah of commitment, dedication and giving it your all. Noah lived his passion and was committed to greatness. Thanks for all of the great times both on and off the race course. You will be truly missed. R.I.P. Til we meet again.
