Noel Christopher Behan

Noel Christopher Behan Died April 20, 2013 Noel was born December 2, 1953 in Dublin, Ireland. He was the 4th of 5 siblings born to the late John and Christina Behan. At a very early age Noel became a sports fan, particularly a "football" fan. His favorite team was Manchester United. He continued being a fan into adulthood and traveled across the United States at every opportunity to watch them when they came to America. After moving to Michigan Noel became a supervisor at Costco where he loved to work. He also became an avid Detroit Tigers fan even going so far as to winter in Lakeland, Florida so he could watch them in the off season. His many other joys in life were spending his summers in the Thumb, fishing, music, books, travel and the occasional Guinness Stout. Noel was known for his love of life and followed the love of his life, Suzanne, to the United States where they enjoyed 16 years of love and laughs. His Irish spirit was infectious. Upon meeting him you wanted to be him. He loved nothing better than talking and laughing with friends. He was truly loved by all who met him and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his beloved wife, best friend and soul mate Suzanne Seitz Behan. Father of David, Glenda, Gary (the late Julie), James and Geraldine Scott. Grandfather of Craig, Jack, Amy, Sophie, Shane, Lauren, and the late Sarah. Loving brother of Sean (Evelyn), Ann Cunningham (John), Brian (Betty), and Marie (William). Loving son-in-law of Jerry and Maureen Seitz. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and his faithful and devoted companion Lily, as well as his dear friend Paul McDade.
