Noel “Travis” Eads, age 51, of Maryville, Tennessee, passed away on October 28, 2025, at Blount Memorial Hospital. Travis was born on December 14, 1973, to William R. Eads and Mary K. “Kay” Totton. He was preceded in death by his father, William “Bill” Eads, and his sister, Christina M. Eads.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Eads of Knoxville, TN; daughter, Christina Eads of Knoxville, TN; stepsons, Randall and Michael Haynes of Cross Lanes, WV; mother, Kay Totton of Louisville, TN; sister, Stephanie Barker of Huntington, WV; three nephews, a niece, and several great-nieces and nephews. He will also be deeply missed by his best dog, Dozer.
Travis proudly served his country as a sergeant in the United States Army, working as a heavy wheel mechanic while stationed in Germany and at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He loved the outdoors and could often be found hunting, fishing, or listening to music. He was also a big NASCAR fan and had a deep affection for animals. Travis’s kind heart and easygoing spirit touched everyone who knew him.
Family and friends will meet at 8:30 AM, Thursday, November 13, 2025, at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway in Knoxville for a service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a local animal shelter or encourages others to honor his memory by adopting a pet in need.
He will be truly missed by all who loved him.
