Nolan Free, beloved son of Taylor and Brittany (Wilcox) Free, was born sleeping on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, in Fort Wayne, Indiana
His dad, Taylor, is a loan processor for Farmers and Merchants Bank, and his mom, Brittany, is a dispatcher for the Ohio State Patrol.
He is also survived by his twin sisters, Breanna and Brooklyn; two brothers, Braxton and Gannon; sister, Whitley; paternal grandparents, Karla and Carey Free of Decatur, Indiana; maternal grandparents, Jim and Nancy Wilcox of Haviland, Ohio; paternal great-grandfather, Leon Byer of Berne, Indiana; paternal great-grandfather, Richard Free of Geneva, Indiana; paternal great-grandmother, Patricia Free of Decatur, Indiana; maternal great-grandmother, Florence Nolan of Van Wert, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by paternal great-grandmother, Rita Byer; maternal great-grandfather, Lowell Nolan; and maternal great-grandparents, Rev. R. Edsel and Kay Wilcox.
Private family services will be held, and burial will be held at Willshire Cemetery with Pastor Brad Kittle officiating.
