Nora M Larson

Nora M. Larson, 94, formerly of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, died peacefully on November 30, 2025. Nora Larson (Sheridan) was born March 4, 1931, in Youngstown, Ohio. Nora was the beloved wife of 62 years to David A. Larson who passed away in 2015.

Nora, daughter of the late Robert Francis and Lucille McBride Sheridan, and Mother to David Larson Jr. (Mary Farragher), Linda Larson Gawne (Matthew), Michael Larson (Judy), and Laura Larson Stautberg (Thomas). Cherished grandmother of Bridget, Andrew, Kelly, Michael, Jack, Brodie, Riley, Katherine and William. Nora was blessed with six great grandchildren, Brooks, Quinn, Sloane (Bridget & Cole Braham) Graham, Warren (Michael & Katie Gawne) and Tucker (Andrew & Patricia Larson). Nora was the dear sister of Mary Theresa (P.E.) Burrows, Robert (Rita) Sheridan, John (Mary) Sheridan and Michael (Judy) Sheridan; fond aunt, great-aunt, and friend of many.

Nora was a proud graduate of Ursuline High School class of 1950. Nora was an active member of St. Michael's Parish and Canfield Boosters while raising her family in Canfield, Ohio. After a few moves took her to Anderson, South Carolina, Baltimore, Maryland and South Bend, Indiana, she retired to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

A Mass will be celebrated by her great-nephew, The Very Reverend John Sheridan at 10:00am on Tuesday, December 23rd at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 7345 Westview Drive, Boardman, OH. Nora will later be laid to rest at St. Francis by the Sea columbarium on Hilton Head Island.
