Nora O'Connor Obituary
Nora graduated with an Elementary Education degree from St. Francis College in Biddeford, ME, and later received a Master of Education degree from the University of Maine. During her career, Nora was a passionate and creative special education teacher and administrator. She was an expert at helping children discover their unique talents.
Nora was a loving mother to her son Sean Fitzgerald. She was an adoring grandmother to her grandchildren Olivia and Brendan Fitzgerald.
Predeceased by her parents, Doris and Eugene O'Connor. Survived by her son Sean (his partner, Darcy), her grandchildren, her brothers - Michael O'Connor and Chris O'Neill, and an extended blended family. She also had a caring network of friends.
She loved family, music and animals.
A Celebration of Life is planned for May at Winslow Park in Freeport, ME.
