Nora Elizabeth Wheeler

Always aware of the Wheeler family when we were raising our own kids, my fondest memories of Nora are from Clinton Young Elem. School when Jane and Kurt were there as students. It was always great to have one of the Wheelers as students because, not only did you have a good and fun student to work with, you probably had Nora as a room mother. Even if Nora was not a room mother, she was a Mom who showed up frequently, spreading cheer and being helpful to all. Sympathy from the Beasley family goes out to all of you, Jane, Kurt, and Kevin in the loss of your mother. She was a classic and was deeply appreciated as a friend and as the mom of some of my favorite students.

I will always cherish the time I shared with Nora, and the way she referred to all of you as her kids. She'd say "there's Kevin, and Janie, and Kirk and now there's a whole nother bunch of them. "I don't know their names, but their all my kids and their all smart and they can all do anything ". Thank you for sharing the love and strength of your family. Thank you for sharing Nora. My love thoughts and prayers are with you.

Although we did not know Nora, unfortunately, I know she must have been an incredible woman because we have had the pleasure of knowing her son. Kurt is one of the greatest men we have ever known and although we're sorry we did not know her personally, we are grateful to her for raising the man we know as one of our dearest friends.

The boys are sad. She left & didn't show them where their gizzard is. Bet those two are having fun & the dads can't stop them. O ur families always had fun together. I'm glad mom will not have to do this alone any more. I hope our families don't loose touch. Love you.

Dear Wheeler'S I want to wish you all our best at this time. The passing of your mother saddens me. Your mother is one of those great ladies who treated all of your friends as if they were her own. I will not make it Sunday to see you all.
