Norine Kilbourn Obituary
A cherished mother, Norine, is survived by her children, Rachel (Dennis) Greenman, David Tongay, and January Tongay. Her legacy continues through her adoring grandchildren, Mandy (Eddy) Decker, Aaron Greenman, Rebecca (Kyle) Dube, Dareian Jeffries, and Cameron Jeffries, and her treasured great-grandchild, Hayden Hibbert. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Alvin and Evelyn Kukuk, who instilled in her the values of love and faith that she carried throughout her life.
Norine's passion for oil painting was a testament to her creative spirit. Her canvases, filled with landscapes, animals, and modern and contemporary art, were a reflection of the beauty she saw in God's creation. Even when she was housebound, her love for the Lord shone brightly through her dedication to reading the Bible, which she would spend hours with each day, her pages well-worn and lovingly annotated with her reflections and insights.
Music and the message of the Gospel were great comforts to Norine, and she found joy in listening to Gospel music and watching Christian TV programs, especially those featuring Bill Gaither and Billy Graham. Her faith was her cornerstone, and she was attendee of First Baptist Church of Lapeer, attending services and fellowship whenever her health permitted.
Norine's kind and gentle spirit was a blessing to all who knew her. Her unwavering faith in God guided her through life's challenges and triumphs, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Cremation has taken place. No services are planned. Memorial contributions in honor of Norine can be made to St. Judes Children Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville. Share memories, condolences, and pictures with the family at www.jansenfuneralhome.com.
