Norma Almond Obituary
Norma Talbert Almond, 91, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023 at a loved one's home in Concord.
Norma was born October 19, 1931 in Stanly County to the late Baine Talbert and the late Beulah Eudy Talbert. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Genoal Hinsdale and Shelia Mullis; niece, Carla Hinsdale and nephew, Shawn Mullis.
The family will receive friends Sunday, January 15th, 2023 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be at 3:00 pm on Monday, January 16th, 2023 at West Albemarle Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Adam Hatley. Burial will follow at the Fairview Memorial Park cemetery at 1425 East Main Street, Albemarle.
Survivors include: special family, Jean Mauldin; brother-in-law, Samuel Mullis; niece, Carol Hinsdale Crews; nephew, Samuel Mullis ll (Donna); niece, Sarah Burris (Brent); great nephews, Isaac Mullis, Samuel Mullis lll (Kassidee), Andrew Mullis; great nieces, Gabe Crews, Alexis Mullis; great-great niece, Ember Mullis.
Memorials may be made to West Albemarle Baptist Church or Stanly County Senior Center.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the family.
