Norma L. "Windstein" Bond

Norma (Windstein) Bond, age 85, of Upper St. Clair, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026. She was born April 1, 1940, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Cyril and Leona (Schonbak) Schmitt.

Norma dedicated 45 years of her working career to the fur industry, working as a skilled furrier. She was known for her sense of style and was always fashionable and loved shopping. Norma was also a wonderful cook and baker. Her brownies were a beloved specialty that she happily made for family and friends. Above all else, she was a very loving mother and wife and found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, James Bond; three children, Mark M. Windstein and wife Terri, Kristen L. Perryman and husband Frank, and Karen Griffin and husband Chris; seven grandchildren, John M. Windstein and wife Lauren, Kimberly Harsch and husband Dustin, Frank Perryman Jr., Margo Cunningham and husband Coby, Thomas Perryman and wife Alaina, Garrett Griffin and wife Elle, and Brittany Parks and husband Nate; seven great-grandchildren, Lucas and Grace Windstein, Dylan and Hailey Harsch, Callen Cunningham, and Miriam and Leona Parks; also survived by many extended family members.

In addition to her parents, Norma is preceded in death by her son, Jackie Windstein.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, where a blessing service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven cemetery.
