Norma Burks

Norma Burks, 62, Ozark, went home to be with the Lord on November 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on April 12, 1963 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Russell and Avelin (Raines) Deal,
Norma grew up in Oklahoma where she blossomed in both beauty and faith. It was there she met the love of her life, William B. "Wink" Burks, with whom she shared 44 wonderful years of marriage.
Norma was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She found joy in laughter, in gathering with loved ones, and in creating lasting memories through her kindness and warmth. Her unwavering faith and love for the Lord shone brightly in all she did, inspiring everyone blessed to know her.
She is survived by her husband, Wink; her children, Jennifer Horman and her husband Bob, Jonathon Burks, and Casey Toone and her husband Bert; five cherished grandchildren who brought her endless joy, Madison, Avalyn, Dorothy, Lucy, and Penny; a brother, Darrell Deal and his wife Denise; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Lenora Pendergrass.
Norma's legacy of faith, love, laughter, and light will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at J.D. Lee and Sons Funeral Home, Rogersville.
Private burial will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Green Hill Cemetery south of Fordland.
