Norma and I were friends as well as colleagues at the Academy of Holy Names. She introduced me to the beauty of Watch Hill. She frequently made the three hour drive for a visit to the beach and the town, and sometimes I went with her. The drive was pleasant as well because Norma had wonderful stories about the area. In particular I remember trying to memorize the names of towns along the way who also were a brand of cigarette! These day trips were delightful and cherished memories of a lovely, sweet woman.
